We found out from our neighbors that Hopper Homes and Renovations did all kinds of renovations, so we were thrilled when Elmer agreed to work with us on our home. Hopper Homes is in the process of renovating our home. It was a red brick home with bright white trim. Now we have added over 3000 square feet of stone to the exterior, plus we coated the brick with a nice cream color. We also added a nice covered rear porch that has a true masonry fireplace at one end. Everything has gone well and will be completed in 2-3 weeks. We are happy with it all.

Hopper Homes built our home in 1996, and we were very happy with the end result. Recently we decided call them back to replace our roof, add some cultured stone to our chimneys and rear columns, plus renovate two large rooms in our terrace level. Everything is complete except for about three weeks of work on the terrace level. It all looks good and have enjoyed working with them once again.

We purchased our home from Elmer Hopper Homes in 1992. I believe our home was the first home Elmer built in Chateau Elan. Over the years, we have we been very pleased with our home in terms of quality and workmanship. In fact, we have always called on Elmer when we wanted interior or exterior renovation, remodeling, and/or home additions. Over the years, we have added a free standing two car garage with finished upstairs, a new roof, new windows, doors, and replaced the synthetic stucco with hard coat stucco. As for the interior, we remodeled the kitchen, and family room, and added a finished basement complete with a large circular bar, stone fireplace, media area, area for a pool table, complete bath and storage room. These additions have certainly added value to our home and we can thank Elmer, Gayle, Preston, and their subcontractors for doing a great job for us.
Elmer, his employees, and subcontractors, have always been courteous, friendly, punctual, and professional. They are aware of the importance of leaving their job site clean and neat at the end of each workday. It is also important to note that most of Elmer’s subcontractors have been with him for over twenty years. They are obviously a very competent, talented, and professional team.

A few years back we decided to let Hopper Homes tear down our small, old house on Lake Hartwell and build a new one. We now have a 2500 square foot ranch with around 1500 finished in the basement. In 2009-2010 we decided to let Hopper Homes and Renovations completely redo the exterior of our home. It was a stucco home that had plenty of leaks and problems. Elmer, Preston, and their men replaced the doors and windows, completely removed the stucco and replaced it with brick veneer, replaced the shingles on the roof, and added a 800 square foot covered porch on the rear of the house with fireplace, grill, cabinets, and etc. Our home looks 100% different and Hopper Homes was great to work with.
